About Us
The Lingua Franca Club is a global community dedicated to making language-learning a social, accessible, and democratized experience for everyone.
Created by Tommy-Maurice Gouin and Sumit Agarwal on February 20, 2021, our mission was to bridge borders through language and accessible education. Since launching, we have helped around 400 people from five continents.
Learning here is all about fun and interaction. We focus on community-led sessions where speak and connecting is just as important as the lesson itself.

Offerings
The Lingua Franca Club offers language-learning Zoom meetings in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi. These meetings are held on weekends and are free for everyone. Lingua Franca Club Awards
Since 2024, the Lingua Franca Club has organized the Lingua Franca Club Awards, a virtual ceremony celebrating learners in the community. Dubbed the "Oscars of linguistics," these awards are given in various categories such as "Learner of the Year," "Persistent Learner of the Year," and many more.

The Lingua Franca Club is going to organize events in Asunción, Paraguay, via Lingua Franca Live.
